"What is Justified Belief?", Alvin Goldman, 1979
Goldman proposes a theory of justified belief in non-epistemic terms.
In his account, the believer does not possess justification, i.e. the beliver does not need to know that he holds a justified belief and even does not need be able to give a justification.
First proposal for a base clause:
(1) If S believes p at t, and p is indubitable for S (at t), then S's belief in p at t is justified.
